Former Majority Association for Equality commences

Colby Bohannon is a Texas State University student that started the Former Majority Association. Bohannon tried to find ways to fund his education after coming back from Iraq and going to school. He noticed that women and those who were not Caucasian were given the most scholarships. He started the association for this very reason.

There is a small scholarship that FMAE provides. It is given to everyone that has at least 25 percent non-Hispanic in them and has a GPA of at least 3.0. A statement was made on the FMAE website. It states the group “has no political aspirations, financial agenda or radical social philosophies whatsoever.” The group simply aims to fill the gap in accessible scholarships for white males.
