Birth or Not abortion site - Real or joke?

Life Site News accounts that what 30-something Minnesota couple Alisha and Pete Arnold want most in life is to start a family. Their unborn baby is at seventeen weeks. Yet the Arnolds state they’re divided as to how to proceed, so they’ve put up a site called Birth or Not (BirthOrNot.com). The Arnolds state they would like the planet to assist them to choose whether they should give birth or have an abortion.

What people want to know about Birth or Not

As outlined by the Ministry of Truth blog, Pete and Alisha Arnold just wanted to make a political statement with Birth or Not birth. They have no intention of getting an abortion though. The first possible sign is a statement on BirthOrNot.com that reads "For the first time, your vote on the topic of abortion can make a difference." There had been one more sign from Pete Arnold. Life Site News story quotes him saying, "We don't see a difference between this and what politicians or supporters do in regards to campaigning."

Dates and domains not matching

The rhetoric sounds political and impersonal to the Ministry of Truth, but the investigation doesn’t stop at judging appearances. The Church of Global Warming was a climate change denier website connected to Birth or Not which had been shown in Google Analytics. Ministry of Truth explains the website is owned by Pete and Alisha Arnold. It is very right-wing conservative too.

There is some really hard evidence. The calendar dates are used for this. Might 17, 2010 had been when the Whois record for BirthOrNot.com had been registered, reports the Ministry of Truth. However, Pete and Alisha Arnold must have conceived in late July or early August, as they claim their unborn fetus is 17 weeks old today, Nov. 19. Thus, Birth or Not had been first registered nine to 10 weeks before conception.

The poll for Birth or Not at present

Currently, 80.51 percent of poll respondents favor birth, when 19.49 percent want the Arnolds to abort. December 7 can be "two days before the last day they could get an abortion" reports Life Site News, and can be when Pete and Alisha Arnold close the poll.

Antimatter created at CERN laboratory

Antimatter has been produced by scientists. The discovery was made at the CERN research laboratory. Typically, merely the traces of antimatter, not antimatter itself, are observable. Post resource – CERN researchers capture antimatter for the first time by Personal Money Store.

Very first time seeing antimatter atoms

The Telegraph reports that in an experiment, antimatter was captures by the CERN laboratory scientists in Geneva Switzerland. Only 38 atoms of antihydrogen were able to be caught for a fifth of a second before blasting out of existence. For subatomic particles, a fifth of a second is a long time. To produce antihydrogen, scientists used the Anti-hydrogen Laser Physics Apparatus, or ALPHA, to bombard a contained field with concerning 700 million positrons, or positively charged electrons, with concerning 10 million protons, according to the BBC. A gas cloud the size of a match head was formed within the magnetic container used to do the experiment. 38 atoms of antihydrogen were formed this way. Antihydrogen is the element used in studies as it is basically hydrogen, the simplest element, with opposite charges.

Antimatter not just for science hype

A particle of matter with an opposite electrical charge is exactly what antimatter is. A negative charge with a certain behavior is exactly what normal electrons usually do. Anti-electron, sometimes called positrons, have optimistic charges although they behave just like an electrons. In 1932, man named Carl D. Anderson at CalTech confirmed positrons existed. The Nobel Prize in Physics was given to him for this. When antimatter comes in contact with ordinary matter, the particles annihilate each other. What the biggest concern seems to be studying antimatter without losing it.

Physics concerned about this

Matter and antimatter are some of the greatest mysteries in physics. The universe would have annihilated itself if there were the same amount of antimatter and matter, proving there is more matter. That is the reason why the creation of a few atoms of antimatter in a laboratory was amazing. This is true even if it were just a few seconds.

Republicans try to scuttle NewSTART treaty over missile protection

Missile security is usually something enemies fight over. However, missile defense is getting used as a political football by senators within the GOP to frustrate the Obama administration at the expense of their own country’s best interests. The GOP’s target is the new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty Obama and Russian President Dimitri Medvedev signed last spring that awaits U.S. Senate ratification.

Russia/U.S. relations affected by NewSTART

Missile defense as it relates to the NewSTART treaty, which had bipartisan support until this week, is getting used by certain Republicans as an opportunity for political posturing. The Obama administration trying to improve national security and U.S./Russia relations has relied on NewSTART treaty for this. Last summer's Russian spy scandal and the extradition of Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout haven't affected the U.S./Russia relationships at all since the NewSTART treaty is so important. Next year, the democrats will lose six senate seats. This is why Arizona Republican senator Job Kyl and 10 GOP senators try to delay the vote.

GOP wants to START again

In 2009, the old START treaty expired which is why the NewSTART treaty is essential for making sure United States of America and Russian arsenals of nuclear missiles and on-the ground inspections continue. Starting over is exactly what Kyl and others following him suggested the U.S. Senate needs to do. The arsenal that remains after reductions needs to be modernized with more money. $4.1 billion was already added for this purpose though since it was already brought up before. Other conservatives say the language of the treaty is really broadly defined that it will restrict United States of America missile security possibilities.

The NewSTART

In fact, the NewSTART treaty contains no provisions limiting the number of missile security systems the United States can build. It also doesn’t require the United States of America to cut any already existing systems. The NewSTART treaty reduces restrictions on missile security based on Military Defense Agency chief General Patrick O'Reilly who said this in front of the Senate Armed Services committee in April. The old START treaty produced it impossible for the United States of America to test missiles which were to take out oncoming missiles. Now that is gone.

Acquiring the perfect sweet potato pie or casserole

The Thanksgiving table often includes quite a couple of basics. There is a heavy debate among many families, though. Should it be sweet potato pie or sweet potato casserole. The secret to tasty sweet potato recipes is to get the right tuber mixed with the right supporting cast.

What to purchase for your sweet potato recipe

When someone claims "yam," they sometimes will mean the same thing as a sweet potato. They’re both used. You may even have a recipe lying around. "Thanksgiving yams" might perhaps even be the name of it. A yam and sweet potato are different things though. You would use a sweet potato in the south. Thanksgiving recipes are made with them often. Yams are becoming more accessible in the United States, but be sure you would like to use them if that is what you buy. A yam looks very different from a sweet potato and will cook and taste differently also as it is from Africa.

Sweet potato casserole course

A casserole with sweet potatoes traditionally simply has a few things. Marshmallows top it right after butter and brown sugar has actually been mashed with the sweet potato. The casserole ends up getting fairly sweet. Some like it for dessert over whatever else. You could try instead mixing 1 teaspoon kosher salt and ground pepper with one teaspoon ginger, ¼ cup butter and ¼ cup brown sugar with 1 pound peeled sweet potatoes. Put salt above the marshmallows before cooking it for 300 degrees for 20 minutes when you have to have the marshmallows.

How to prepare a few sweet potato pie

It’s okay to put a lot of sugar into sweet potato pie. This is because dessert is what they are for. By adding eggs to a sweet potato pie recipe, you give it the structural integrity it must be a true pie. Mash potatoes with 1 ¼ cups sour cream right after steaming 1 ½ pounds potatoes. Add 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon and nutmeg and 5 egg yolks. A 9-inch frozen pie shell is what you will fill with this. 1 cup toasted pecans will go on that. Bake at 350 for regarding 1 hour, and you’ve got a classic sweet potato pie.

Brandy off Dancing With the Stars right after achieving perfect rating

Nobody expected the booting of Brandy from ”DWTS” the additional night Exactly what makes it worse is the scores she and her companion received. Both received perfect scores the night before the results TV show. There might be a conspiracy theory, as individuals voting against one of the better couples within the TV show seems incredibly odd. Resource for this article – Brandy off Dancing with the Stars after achieving perfect score by Personal Money Store.

The flawless rating wasn't sufficient the impress the viewers of 'DWTS’ for Brandy

The elimination of Brandy from Dancing with the Stars” and her dance partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy, comes as a complete shocker to a lot of people. A flawless rating was given to Brandy and Maks on their dance by the judges with 10 full points each. This was just the night before too. After staying eliminated, according to USA Today, Norwood and Chmerkoviskiy went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”. Many have guessed the Tea Party is intending to get Palin blood more well known by having Bristol Palin win the show even though she may not be able to dance very well. This is what Jimmy Kimmel asked them about. Bristol Palin hasn't performed well sufficient being on the show for so long perhaps even if she has done a quite decent job. It will come down to Palin, Kyle Massey and Jennifer Grey within the “DWTS” finale.

Male shoots Television over elimination

Bristol Palin is still on the show. A lot of people are pretty mad over it actually. Bristol Palin not obtaining kicked off the TV show really upset a guy in Wisconsin. He perhaps even shot his TV above it. The SWAT team officers had to get Steve Cowan of Vermont Wis., to surrender outside of his house right after he took his shotgun and shot the television since Palin was still there. He can face 10 years for the charge of reckless endangerment.

Palin may be just on the show because of a conspiracy

"Dancing with the Stars" is just like "American Idol." The judges aren't responsible for making the decisions; the viewers vote. The decision getting made by the judges would have had Bristol gone already. She would have left the show a while ago. Whether or not Palin is really talented or not, the Tea Party members are allowed to vote for Palin just because she is Palin.

Very few beneficiaries from rate caps on loan providers

Cash loan lenders get stuck with rate caps quite often these days. Keeping individuals from paying too much is essentially the idea. In reality, rate of interest caps are an unfair standard on cash loans. Interest caps also constrain the ability of loan companies, most of which are smaller businesses, for making a living.

The cash till payday rate cap uses bad math

Many states have introduced initiatives that cap interest rates on loans, aimed at capping the rate of a cash advance loans, typically at 36 percent APR. Many think this is perfectly acceptable to do. Unfortunately, a 36 percent cap has difficulties with it. First, one can hardly assess the fees on a cash til payday loan or payday cash advance loan as APR. A loan that only has two weeks at the most to mature shouldn't be considered under the Annualized Percentage Rates. Assume a loan lender assesses a fee of $20 per $100 loaned. The APR would be 240 percent if the $20 charge had been compounded once a month. A compound each and every two weeks would be even more with that $20. It would end up being about 480 percent APR. Simple interest could be used at the ration of total amount paid vs. total amount borrowed. That means it is only 20 percent interest for the $100 to have a $20 fee.

The Cui Bono phase

The phrase “cui bono”, in Latin, essentially means “Who Benefits?”. Banks and credit unions are typically those who benefit in short term loans rate caps. Numerous seem to want credit cards instead of loan cash. This is all with an APR standard there. Compare simple interest between credit cards and pay day loans and you'll find something different. Pay day loan look much better here.

More terrible price ceilings

Essentially rate caps function as price ceilings, where a business has to charge no more than a certain amount. This means the margin for profit is drastically reduced, and the consumer cannot benefit from price competition. Owners of 50 percent of payday advance loan stores are small. They’re small business owners instead of giants. The economy sucks. It shouldn't be punishing these people. You can read more in the Paydayloan Facts and Statistics Report on Personal Money Store.

Could personal finance schooling help prevent an additional crisis?

It’s been said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Generations of Americans were elevated to be financially illiterate and turned loose upon the world. Making proficiency in personal finance mandatory is increasingly reviewed as the nation reevaluates schooling in the aftermath of the financial crisis. Resource for this article – Teaching personal financial literacy in schools an uphill battle by Personal Money Store.

A financial reform is in place

Educating on finances is an integral part of the 2010 financial reform law. The financial reform law consists of the establishment of an Office of Financial Literacy. The intent of the Office of Financial Literacy is to educate students and consumers about financial education and money.

The public relations are only strengthened with this office

The need to educate everyone who will learn about financial literacy is also good PR. One business has gotten on board already, Genworth Financial, which is doing what it can to educate personal finances in over 300 high schools across the country. Even Visa has gotten on board with a game called Financial Football, where they try to turn education into a fun game. American Express jumped on the education train also. They posted a website called "Currency" directed at younger adults to help them make wise financial decisions as well.

School programs already in play

When it comes to financial literacy education in schools, teachers have their work cut out for them, according to Dan Kadlec at MoneyWatch. As outlined by Kadlec, teacher approached him at the Financial Literacy National Educators Conference in D.C. and stated that they only teach what is on standardized tests. Most all of the standardized tests required for students and schools do not contain anything on financial literacy.

Sale price of rare Chinese vase causes impression

A rare Chinese vase was found in an attic and marketed for millions. The vase is officially the most costly ever, selling for 53 million pounds, or around $85 million in American dollars. The vase is likely from the late 18th century, and it was found in an attic.

Vase in attic that's Chinese

It is still unknown who the woman and her son was that sold the vase. The Telegraph accounts that her brother left her the vase though. The vase was sitting in the woman’s attic room after her brother inherited it from an uncle, an “adventurer” who brought the vase back from China and left it to his nephew, who left it in turn to his sister. The vase collected dust until the woman put it on top of her bookshelf. At some time she decided to get it appraised. It came out to $1,300 or 800 pounds. The woman was told that the vase was worth much more than that following she took it to the auction house Bainbridges. The vase went all the way back to the 18th century and as it was from the Qing dynasty it likely was part of the royal collection of the Qianlong emperor or Hongli. It bears the royal seal, and was likely fired within the imperial kilns.

Uncommon Chinese vase gets individuals chatting

Many Chinese collectors came to try to purchase the vase at an auction after message got out. A 30 minute bidding war ensued. The gavel fell on the winning bid in excess of 53 million pounds ($85 million U.S.). The Daily Mail explained that the winner had missed out on a rare Chinese vase earlier this year. This Chinese industrialist wasn't about to let that occur again. The auctioneer, Peter Bainbridge, had to bang the gavel so hard that it shattered. Rare Chinese porcelain is incredibly valuable.

Taxman ready

The auction commission cost the family about 9 million pounds. Also, 12 million pounds had to be paid to taxes. This was something the auctioneer was excited to work with. Generally things more than 500 pounds he won't work with.

In-state college tuition for California Illegal’s? Yes, claims court

The CA Supreme Judge has decreed that illegal immigrants might continue to receive in-state tuition rates at California state universities, so long as they meet the high school requirement, writes the Los Angeles Times. Those who see education as a human right support the state supreme court’s decision, writes the Los Angeles Times. Yet legal residents who have lost their jobs or benefits during California’s spending budget crisis are singing a different tune.

First recorded protection for in-state tuition

The California court’s protection of in-state tuition eligibility for undocumented immigrants is the first such challenge to the law in the nation. In-state college tuition is granted to illegal immigrant students if they have had three years of high school experience within the state. This is the law in CA also as in nine other states. Typically, students who do not satisfy the state residency requirement must pay much more to attend a state college until they formally become residents of the state in which the college is located.

Opposition can’t stomach the price

In-state tuition is something that students who are in the country legally should be given. This benefit is not something that should go to undocumented workers. Illegal immigrants pay $23,000 less a year on academics because of the in-state college tuition benefit system the University of CA has. There was an estimated 25,000 undocumented students paying in-state tuition, reports the Immigration Reform Law Institute in Washington, D.C. These are just in the state of California. The estimated fee to the state exceeds $200 million.

Federal law and in-state college tuition ruling

Federal law bars undocumented immigrants from receiving higher education benefits based upon residency. The in-state college tuition ruling seems to be breaking federal law, shows Ralph Kasarda. He is an attorney with the Pacific Lawful Foundation. There will have to be an appeal to the United States of America Supreme Court more than likely.

“California isn’t in sync using the federal mandate against giving Brownie points for being an illegal immigrant,” Kasarda told the Los Angeles Times.

But California state officials insist that there is no conflict. They claim that under the state’s nonresident tuition exemption, public colleges might extend in-state tuition to those who attended California high schools for three years or more. Legal status isn't looked at. CA does not considered immigration status.

U.S. USPS endured $8.5 billion decline last year

Letter writing has given way to the cheaper, more instant varieties of electronic conversation like e-mail, text, IM and social networks. Where USPS once had a strangle hold on commercial package shipping, now you will find more efficient alternatives for customers and businesses. Cutting 100,000-plus jobs was not enough to conserve the U.S. Postal service from an $8.5 billion shortfall, accounts MSNBC. That’s $4.7 billion more than the business had shed the prior year. Post resource – U.S Postal service lost $8.5 billion in 2009 by Personal Money Store.

Nobody uses the Postal Service when they can use the web

Previous estimates by the U.S. Postal Service for 2009 were $6 billion to $7 billion. A sharp mail decline has resulted from more people relying on electronic communication, and the recession has stanched the flow of business mail. This has led to less marketing. It went down a bit. In total, it translates to less money for the Postal Service. The USPS is hoping that a postage rate increase is in the future. It also hopes that dropping Saturday service could happen.
Saving costs more than other organizations

About 105,000 full-time jobs got cut because USPS CFO Joe Corbett wanted to conserve about $9 billion. "More than any other organization, anywhere" is what he said the company has done. He said "efficiency" will be what USPS works on. The organization can't continue unless favorable legislation, regulation and labor contracts are followed.

Labor contracts are at the moment being negotiated between the USPS and its unions. There hasn't been a settlement yet. In 2011, the negotiations will continue.

Giving and receiving less first-class mail

There have been less bill payments as well as personal letters and cards that the USPS takes care of anymore. The bill reason is because more people are interested in online paperless billing. For the last three years, from 2008 to 2010, there have been drops in first class mail of 4.8, 8.6, and 6.6 percent. First class mail is something 50 percent of USPS revenue comes from. There is obviously a problem.

So long as retailers and creditors grant consumers discounts for paperless billing – a practice that is unlikely to change – USPS could have an uphill battle. Only Congress, read: higher taxes, might be able to help the U.S. Postal Service considering even Netflix has decided to do much less of a movie exchange through mail and more through a streaming service.

Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley within the films, and of course, leading man Daniel Radcliffe, were also at the London premiere. The 2nd movie can be premiering at a great time. It will be about the 10 year mark for the release of the first movie.

A new beginning of them all

More than 85,000 shoppers are expected to show up the Nutcracker Market 2010. The Nutcracker Market sold about $14 million in merchandise last year. This led to about $2.5 million attending the Houston Ballet. The fourth largest ballet company within the nation is the Houston Ballet company. It only has a $20 million a year spending budget too. The money to fund the Houston Ballet comes from ticket sales, endowments and fund-raising events like the Nutcracker Market 2010.

It could be difficult to fund arts

The Houston Ballet is one of the nonprofit arts organizations that have a hard time. It is a difficult situation to be in. There is a really limited audience with performing arts organizations. This means they could be hard to fund from time to time and have high fixed costs. With the economic recession, fewer people are donating to or making use of arts and performing arts organizations, and across the nation they’re being forced to cut events, budgets and performances. The arts organizations have to support themselves. Part of this is done mostly via fundraisers like the Nutcracker Market 2010. The Nutcracker Market 2010 might not be enough for the Houston Ballet though. Only 10 percent of the spending budget is filled with it. This means that arts funding, like all other nonprofit funding, wil! l continue to face a challenge.

Individuals would benefit more from a charge card ban than a payday loan ban

Plenty of social crusaders have lobbied for a payday loan ban. Evil loan providers conspire in dark corners of country clubs to get individuals to take out a loan until payday. A horrible spiral of debt begins. The poor victims are then left penniless on the street. The issue is the reason a person had to borrow money within the first place is never addressed. The middle class and the poor would be better off if credit cards were banned.

A payday cash advance loan is borrowed for a reason

Getting a payday advance loan isn't something people do for fun. It isn't just a decision made without thinking either. Supply and demand isn't something people think about. Arguments on payday lending don't include them. Many legitimately need to borrow money. This is where a payday lender comes in. Covering an unexpected expense is one reason why most will be willing to borrow. Many people have a power bill that needs to be paid. Without the loan, the power bill may be late though. The question of whether or a paydayloan or credit card cash until payday loan is better is asked by numerous. It's a real question too.

Credit usage among payday borrowers

People who borrow paycheck loans often use other styles of credit as well. Other varieties of credit were used by 91.6 percent of pay day loan borrowers. This had been shown in a study done in 2009. Income between $25,000 and $49,000 are what borrowers have also. This involves a lot of middle class people. They need to have credit cards normally for their lifestyle to be maintained. Minimum credit card payments can lock a person in for decades without touching the principle on a card.

Why credit cards are less frequent targets

As credit card companies are seen as an "institution," the credit card industry and paydayloan industry are considered very different. Everybody says it must be okay if it is an institution. That isn't even true the majority of the time. Many have such big credit card payments that they can hardly do other things with their money. Gossips abound of a brand new Barracuda

The Barracuda could be the next muscle auto to return. Retro style on domestic made performance vehicles has been a large thing. Lots of people would love to view the Barracuda return. There is a hitch, of course. Plymouth hasn’t existed in practically a decade.

Barracuda coming back as a rumor

Recently, the design head of the Chrysler organization and head of Dodge, Roger Gilles, went to the SEMA, or Specialty Equipment Market Association, trade show, according to USA Today. It’s an elite event, only for people within the auto industry. He had been asked about any new projects that were in the works, and he mentioned the Barracuda. He seems to really want it back after being asked about this for so long. It wouldn't be a bad idea to bring back the Barracuda, although it isn't set in stone. Other cars have gotten retro updates, like the Ford Mustang and the Chevy Camaro. There was also a return of the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. These both did well. Plymouth no longer exists though which made the Barracuda at first.

Classic MOPAR muscle

The Plymouth Barracuda was an incredibly popular car among muscle cars. There were great cars that came for cheap from Plymouth. You can get a 273-cubic-inch V8 or 6-cylinder in the first generation which cost about $2,500 from 1964 to 1966. In 1967, the car was changed a ton. It ended up with a 426-inch Hemi V8. The Hemi 426 and 440 are both remembered for how powerful they’re when one of probably the most valuable cars within the world right now are the rare HemiCuda convertibles. Production ended. This all happened in 1974 too.

The end of Plymouth

The Plymouth brand has been over for a when. Since 2001 it has been gone. The Barracuda would have to go under Dodge or Chrysler if it were brought back.

Egg recall redo - 288,000 eggs recalled from chronic violator

Egg recall redo - 288,000 eggs recalled from chronic violator

An Ohio egg farm has become implicated in an egg recall. The 2nd in 2010, the FDA requested the recall. Cal-Maine foods ordered the recall after the Food and Drug Administration informed them that eggs from the Ohio Fresh Eggs farm had tested optimistic for salmonella. Hillandale Farms and Wright County Egg both provided eggs from the egg recall earlier in 2010. Ohio Fresh Egg is in part owned by the exact same person that has a stake in those 2 farms.

Recalling 288,000 eggs in egg recall

Eight states within the United States could be impacted by the Cal-Maine foods egg recall, which is the largest egg distributer within the states. Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. The eggs were sold under the brand names Springfield, Sun Valley, James Farm and Sunny Meadow. You are able to discover the list of UPC codes included in the egg recall here. The egg recall has not had any illnesses linked to it.

Egg recall linked to “habitual violator”

There have been issues in the past for this farm. This is the farm that gives Cal-Maine its eggs. The Ohio Fresh Eggs farm shut down in December 2006. This occurred because Austin "Jack" DeCoster invested $126 million to the farm and it wasn't reported. DeCoster has a stake in Hillandale Farms and Wright County Egg, which were responsible for the egg recall earlier this year that sickened 1,600 people.

Recalling eggs due to salmonella

There is not salmonella bacteria in most eggs. This is generally the case. About 1 in each and every 20,000 chicken eggs contains a very small amount of salmonella — about five microorganisms per egg. It usually takes 100 microorganisms or more per egg for making an individual sick. Keeping yourself safe from salmonella is relatively safe, however. Any bacteria can be cooked if the egg is cooked to a temperature of 160 degrees. You can also protect yourself by buying eggs from someone you know who treats their hens well. This is because hens that are in a dirty place that is overcrowded is more likely to get salmonella.

Olbermann back in saddle, demands apology

Media ethics and campaign contributions were at issue within the recent Keith Olbermann scandal, and also the MSNBC anchor has apparently forced his network to concede. The "indefinite suspension" brought down over Olbermann’s admission that he contributed to three Democratic candidates was initially thought to have been levied due to violation of NBC’s media ethics policy. Olbermann did not bow down to his network masters, based on Mediaite. In fact, it’s now quite the reverse. Now Keith Olbermann demands an apology from MSNBC for being embarrassed quite publicly for what he considered to be less than objectionable behavior. Post resource – Keith Olbermann back on MSNBC, demands apology from network by Personal Money Store.

Keith Olbermann gets cut for some time by MSNBC

Because of the political contributions scandal, Keith Olbermann was suspended by MSNBC network accounts Mediaite. Although Rachel Maddow definitely is doing better in the 25- to 54-year old demographics, Olbermann has a ton of ratings also. Perhaps Keith Olbermann does not have the juice he thinks he does (or at least used to have), hints Mediaite.

The audio and the fury of his requirements

Yet that hasn’t prevented Olbermann from taking great offense at his recent treatment by MSNBC. MSNBC did submit to Olbermann's demands always, Popeater explains.

"Keith sees himself as the star of MSNBC, the person who put them on the map and discovered Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell," said a network insider. "To be treated like this… he considers disgusting."

In light of such views, Keith Olbermann has demanded not only to be reinstated with pay, but for MSNBC’s media ethics rules to be changed so that they’re in line with the policies under which anchors at FOX News operate. FOX News anchors can contribute to political candidates.

Journalist rules shouldn't be applied in this situation, McCain states

In her recent The Daily Beast column, Meghan McCain argues that such suspensions of on-air talent is foolhardy, whether it be at MSNBC, FOX News or anywhere else. "Keith Olbermann isn’t a journalist," she claims. This is her opinion. He is really just a commentator. She thinks that means he is more about entertaining with his informative opinions.

"The real issue at hand is that journalists have to choose if they consider themselves journalists or commentators," she says. This is what McCain wrote. She says that Cable News Network can have ratings go down as it has taken the "middle path" on anything. Entertainment sells.

Craigslist Albany pimping runs afoul of cops

Craigslist has caught heat in current years for allowing online ads for prostitution and "girlfriend experience" (GFE) to publish. It has proven almost impossible for Craigslist to weed out all offending ads, accounts Bronx News. Craigslist Albany is one of the most current segment of the national site to fall prey to an internet prostitution ring plying its skin trade. Twenty-five-year-old Ross Campbell, a previous utility worker, has been arrested for pimping out young women via the site. He faces up to 50 years in prison, accounts the Bronx News New York blog.

Craigslist Albany had criminal offenses in abundance

The Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson explained that sex trafficking, kidnapping, rape and other crimes with two "young" victims were occurring via Queens resident Campbell's business on Craigslist Albany. This is reportedly the first such online-related conviction in Bronx County and one of only a couple of made under New York’s Sex Trafficking statute that became law in 2007. Promoting prostitution had been the only thing that wasn't a Class B felony under Ross Campbell's Craigslist Albany crimes. This means up to 25 years in jail for each offense can be sentenced. Thus, consecutive terms are possible, yet a combined term might occur.

Internet prostitution stories

Campbell had an intimate relationship with a 19 year old woman who had a three year old child. This is why she came to the Bronx, court docs say, thinking she'd be residing with him. She said she was "forced to engage in prostitution" as they threatened her child would be harmed or killed otherwise. This was after she was relocated to an apartment that Daniel Ebron, or Campbell's cousin, rented. The woman worked as a prostitute for customers solicited via Craigslist Albany ads until she eventually managed to get away with her son.

2 other victims, 18 and 19 years old, were kidnapped and raped too.

This decision took consultation with the NCAA and several other groups. George Washington University, ultimately, made the final decision. Resource for this article – Kye Allums – Transgender athlete to still play women’s basketball by Personal Money Store.

He goes to George Washington University and is 21 years old. Kye has been changing to a man in the last few months. Kye is a 5'1'' guard. The election outcomes might not be worth celebrating

There were some surprises within the 2010 election results. There were some non-surprises too. The House of Representatives, for example, is now thoroughly shot through with Republicans. The Senate is nevertheless controlled by Democrats, however by fewer. The Tea Party Candidates had a mixed record. Congress, nevertheless, might be so deadlocked by party lines that it definitely won’t be able to do anything.

Election outcomes might backfire

Republicans may have majority within the House of Representatives. This is only if the 2010 election voting outcomes are correct. Granted, there is not anything intrinsically wrong with Republicans (or at least more wrong than what’s wrong with Democrats), but neither party is really cooperative. Some individuals call it standing on principle, which is billed as a good quality for officials, but it is a negative quality in a 4-year-old. Since neither party will work with each other, nothing will get done. Congress will end up in a deadlock. That is not really a good thing. It’s bad. It needs to be avoided. Individuals who are realistic have Sarah Palin on their backs which is bad for authorities.

It's not just here

A hung parliament is what occurred earlier this year in Good Britain. There is one description of a hung parliament. It’s when elections make it so the legislature has an equal number of representatives. Business ends up not being taken care of since no party had a majority. Tea Party people might say that’s a good thing, but the United Kingdom and each and every other parliamentary govt within the world tries to keep away from it like the plague or Randy Moss. Granted, there is something intended to be special and American about every little thing we do as a nation, but what is bad for everybody else is probably bad for us.

Precisely what it appears like

The Huffington Post reports that John Boehner realized that to "meet in the middle" with the president is good still although he will not do anything Obama wants. Officials without the ability to compromise aren’t friends to democracy.

Mazda Motors cooking up gas motor with better than hybrid mileage

Mazda is working on a motor that will get 70 miles per gallon. Ford has a 45 miles per gallon Focus in the works, too. The goal is an impossibly efficient internal combustion motor that will not be used in a hybrid. The design uses advanced technology but some pretty basic principles.

Hybrids aren't as good as the Mazda engine

There has been buzz over a prototype engine Mazda is testing, as outlined by CNN. About 70 miles per gallon can be achieved with the prototype. Having a low fuel consumption than that is something everyone wants. It needs to be decently priced though. Direct fuel injection and variable valve timing are the two technologies that the motor could be using. Ignition is much better with direct injection. This is because rather than injecting fuel on top of the bloc, it is injected to the piston chamber directly. Normally, there would be mechanically set and unvarying vale operation when variable valve timing makes it so there is a more efficient rhythm in the automated computer. The technology is fairly cutting edge, but the idea is as basic at it gets.

Involving simple physics in it

The science behind the Mazda motor and the 45 mpg Focus is pretty basic. Mechanical advantage and mechanical efficiency are two essential principles involved. The energy ratio needed to perform is what mechanical efficiency is. Mechanical advantage is how much force a machine can produce from a unit of energy. If an engine can extract more power from a unit of fuel, it could be have fuel efficiency. That is why you will need to have mechanical advantage.

Having it happen in reality

If an engine can put gas within the right place at the right time, there will be more efficiency. This means more force could be created than traditional fuel injection creates. Turbocharged smaller engines are an answer also. Efficiency is increased there as well. Hybrid cars are an engineering marvel, though the technology is still in its relative infancy. The traditional combustion engine is not a dead or dying technology, and it can be interesting to view what can still be done with it.

Happy Meal Ban - Bay Area restricts take out meal playthings

In a measure that was first introduced in Oct and voted on today, the so-called “Happy Meal ban” has been passed. This San Francisco measure limits which meals can include a free toy. Santa Clara County has enacted a similar Happy Meal Ban, despite heavy lobbying of several restaurant associations.

Ban on Happy Meals because of the fat that is excessive

The nutrition content of a meal is what the San Francisco's board of supervisors were thinking about Tues when passing the "Happy Meal Ban". Restaurants are banned from offering toys in certain meals. In order to offer a toy, a meal must have 600 calories or fewer total, such as the drink. Less than 35 percent of the calories within the meal can come from fat, as well. A half cup of vegetables are required in the meal also. Restaurants will not be able to give a free toy to kids unless the meal is healthy. That is the only way to do it.

Meals are not banned with the Happy Meal Ban

Though the Healthy Meal Incentive legislation is being called the “Happy Meal Ban,” that is a misnomer. There is just one thing that is involved in the Healthy Meal Incentive. Meals with high-fat and high sugar can’t have a toy offered with them. The sides of the debate are really clear. The line is seen by many. The toy being removed from the meal is a bad thing for business some say. It makes consumer choice impossible. The legislation being enforced is something others don't like. This is because they think the better way to do it would be to teach parents about having healthier meals. Either way, the city legislation passed with a veto-proof majority.

Trend with the Healthy Meal Incentive Act

The Healthy Meal Incentive legislation is not the first legislation to try to control what cities eat. NY City made a Ban in 2006. This made it so restaurants could not have any trans-fats. After that ban had been passed, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, Arby’s, Applebee’s, Cheesecake Factory and thousands of other restaurants quit using trans fats. Crisco shortening was redone also. Trans-fats are no longer in it. Is the Healthy Meal Incentive Act an additional positive step in limiting the food we eat, or do you think these bans should themselves be banned?

Obama India journey - Is $200 million each day truly needed?

President Obama is taking a working trip to India and nearby nations. This trip is mainly for partnership building. The journey has been highly envisioned and talked about, though it doesn’t have any major goals. Is this trip worth the reported $200 million cost is a question the majority are asking. Post resource – Obama India trip – Is $200 million a day really needed? by Personal Money Store.

Obama India trip cost may be over-reported

One Indian news outlet reported the cost of the Obama India trip at $200 million per day. The $200 million per day estimate is probably just a little too high although the White House will not say what the expense of the trip had been. The India trip cost rumor had been addressed by White House spokesman Tommy Vietor:

“Due to security concerns, we are struggling to outline information associated with security procedures and costs, but it’s safe to say these numbers are wildly inflated.”

India somewhere Obama went for relationship building

Developing and strengthening interactions between the 2 countries was the reason why Obama made his four-day journey to India. India trades about $40 billion per year with the United States, and also the countries also have a civil nuclear cooperation agreement. The Obama trip to India was talked about by India's foreign minister, Nirupamo Rao. He said, “We aren’t at a stage in our relationship perhaps for an additional big bang, however certainly there can be positive outcomes.”

A president traveling costs a lot

The Obama India trip will surely cost various million dollars each day. Whenever presidents travel, they take along a large portion of the White House with them. Continuing working is a major concern when a president goes on a trip. Also, if there were any major concerns, it would have to be discussed. Media has to pay themselves for trips like this, sometimes with a no fax payday loan, when the president has much of the costs going towards security. Working class individuals won't have to pay any more or less than usual for the Obama India trip.

Lil Wayne's airline from Rikers could be a recording studio room

Lil Wayne would have recorded an album in jail, however the man kept him down. Rolling Stone writes that Lil Wayne won’t even be waiting until he deplanes from his private jet out of Rikers Island. The rap artist with the world-famous teeth could be laying down tracks on board his special jet, because eight months in the can fills a man with a certain urgency. Post resource – Lil Wayne to record tracks on flight out of jail by Personal Money Store.

The strategy of Lil Wayne to jot down everything about prison

Bryan "Birdman" Williams, co-founder of Lil Wayne’s Cash Money tracking label, told Rolling Stone "We’re gonna deal with that microphone, no trip. You cannot keep (Lil Wayne) out of the studio room."

You also can’t keep Lil Wayne from writing lyrics, as evidenced by eight months worth of "furious" work done in his Rikers Island cell. Wayne hasn't rhymed since Hot Boys, although "Birdman" said he is rhyming once again, accounts the Rolling Stone. Lil Wayne is being confined due to "music related contraband" being found within the MC with him in a fire in early October for the second time. There can be a sharper edge to the material that comes from it.

Saying he's ‘A different swagger’

Listening to Lil Wayne's music can be like hearing "a different swagger." This is what Williams explains. Lil Wayne’s next LP, "Tha Carter IV," ought to be released in early 2011. Enthusiasts shouldn't be too concerned with the album "I Am Not a Human Being" being so popular just two weeks ago. They may have enough music from Lil Wayne to listen to. Rolling Stone reports that Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne's manager, said that he is headed someplace very creative because of his human experience he has had that had been very human.

Exactly what the Cell phone Effect means to Election 2010

Early poll outcomes for Election 2010 might be off just a bit, because of a prejudice that Pew Research has dubbed the "cell phone effect". According to the NY Times, land lines are out of style; at least 25 percent of adults use cellular technology exclusively. Because many pollsters don’t call cell phones, results can be off by as much as four points, reports the Times.

A more powerful group of Democrats with the Cell phone Effect

Cell phone-only voters are generally younger adults who are Caucasian and live in urban areas. They also made the term "cell phone effect" essential, Pew Research reports. Interestingly, these demographics coincide with those of many Democrats. That means Democrats could be as much as four points closer to the top than they seem.

Is this a discontentment being shown?

Polls conducted without cell phones by Pew showed Republicans to be ahead by 9.3 points on average. Part of that may be due to the Cell phone Effect, when the rest could be attributed to discontentment with the Obama administration’s inability to quickly remedy problem issues like unemployment and also the housing industry. Sometimes cell phones are involved. In this case, the swing isn't there as much which makes individuals believe that it’s more about the Cell phone Effect than anything else. Pew plans to analyze Election 2010 data more fully after all results are verified.

The bias amongst those most likely to vote on things

According to Pew Research, there is also bias to be found among those considered most likely to vote in Election 2010. Specifically, combined land line/cell phone polls showed a seven-point Republican lead. Out of those people, half supported candidates for the GOP. Another 43 percent supported the candidates that were Democrats. Pew Research explains that a 12 point lead for republicans was shown in a land-line only poll.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration teams with DARPA for Hundred Year Starship

There is a new joint venture between Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The onus of the project is designing and eventually building a spacecraft that will take people and enough supplies and equipment to Mars. It's called the Hundred Year Starship, but the journey would be a bit different from the moon landings. The catch is that the individuals on this mission won’t come back.

Mars seeing Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and National Aeronautics and Space Administration

NASA and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency are working together on a project which was announced at the Long Conversation conference in San Francisco by NASA Ames Research Center's Pete Worden. The 2 govt agencies have asked for help on the project called the Hundred Year Starship, the Telegraph reports. Getting donations is something the businesses are focusing on when talking to the world's billionaires. Larry Page, Google co-founder, is one of the people being asked. Next year would be when the first design is accessible. This project is far more ambitious than the DARPA Challenge, an endurance race for self-driving automobiles. Getting astronauts and cargo to Mars is the challenge being worked on with the project. The astronauts wouldn't be coming back though, which is as opposed to Apollo 11 and also the International Space Station.

You may only ride one way

The distances between Earth and other planets does not lend itself very easily to a ferry service. Journeying to Mars takes months. Nine months are needed for it. Anyone who lands there will have to be self sufficient. Only $1 million is in the budget for the project. That's bad because it will probably cost around $10 billion, says NASA . Four pounds of fuel are needed for each and every one pound of equipment being moved into space, accounts Fox News. It is really hard for making it possible to get to Mars. Finding a way to come back can be near impossible.

Colonization and also the final frontier

Colonizing planets is what the plan is with the first space exploration plan with Mars. The plan would involve getting astronauts to live on Mars. This would lead them to be there permanently. There would have to be some way to adjust to the lifestyle on Mars. This planet, at some point, will die. There has to be another place Mankind will live if the planet dies.

Betrayal of Valery Plame the true story of Fair Game

Central Intelligence Agency agent Plame had been undercover when she was outed by a journalist in 2003. The White House leaked data that blew Plame’s cover in anger over public statements by her husband Joe Wilson saying Vice President Cheney lied about reasons for attacking Iraq. The motion picture "Fair Game," hitting U.S. theaters Friday, tells the story now known as "Plamegate".

Plame’s life as part of 'Fair Game'

The movie “Fair Game” tells the story behind how Valerie Plame’s Central Intelligence Agency career had been destroyed when journalist Robert Novak revealed her identity. Plame's husband who was a U.S. ambassador, Joe Wilson, went on a mission to Iraq to see if nuclear material was coming from Niger as the White house claimed beginning Plamegate. Wilson came up empty and went against White House wishes to suppress his story by writing a column within the NY Times titled “What I did not find in Africa.”. Wilson’s column exposed the Bush administration’s rationale for the Iraq War that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction had been a fraud.

Agent in CIA tricked by Bush administration

The Bush administration, in an attempt to destroy Joe Wilson's credibility, ruined Plame’s CIA career. The whole thing had been meant to make it look like Joe Wilson's wife, as a Central Intelligence Agency agent, got him the assignment although he didn't know what was going on. Someone on the White House staff, planting the seeds for that lie, revealed Plame’s identity to Novak, who published it immediately. That happened at a bad time for Plame. She was working to get rid of nuclear proliferation undercover then. She and those in the business undercover were all exposed. This led the company being exposed as well.

Fault for Plamegate goes to Scooter Libby

Giving the identity of an undercover CIA agent is something illegal to do. Plame’s identity being leaked was denied by Cheney, Karl Rove, Richard Armitage and Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Libby ended up taking the fall. This had been so Cheney would be protected. He had been fined $250,000 and sentenced to 30 months in prison on March 6, 2007. On July 2, 2007, Bush pardoned Scooter Libby. Some believe he had been pardoned so that he would keep his mouth shut. Nobody really knows what happened with Plame nevertheless though.

Prop 19 takes weed arguments to center stage

California’s Prop 19 has a little bit of anything that has made the 2010 election season interesting. There’s a big debate over the proposition and its effects. Specifically, the “Regulate, Control, and Tax Weed Act. Here are the basics of the debate over Proposition 19.

Details about Prop 19

Cannabis for recreational purposes would be legal in CA with Prop 19. The voter initiative, if passed, would allow anybody 21 years of age or older to “possess, cultivate or transport weed for personal use.”. Marijuana would be regulated and taxed by the local govt. It would be illegal to drive under to influence or to smoke in public or with anybody younger than 21 around.

Prop 19 and the argument on taxation’s

If Proposition 19 passed, it may be good for California financially. Major tax revenue would be there. Not only would Prop 19 remove the more than $1 billion cost of enforcing anti-marijuana laws, it would create about $1.3 billion in tax revenue. Minimum wage is what the state is paying employees right now. With that kind of revenue, there could possibly be a large change in those wages.

Prop 19 relies heavily on states' rights

Many conservative groups are supporting California’s Prop 19, not specifically for the legalization of cannabis, but for states’ rights. Conservative groups say the United States federal government has no place regulating intoxicants. State and individual rights are the bigger concern with Prop 19 in Tea Party groups.

Declaring no to Proposition 19

There are weird groups that are really in opposition to California's Prop 19. Those who grow and sell medical cannabis do not want Proposition 19 to pass in California. They have spoken out about it. They believe the medical market will change too much with weed being legal for recreation. They might end up with higher taxation’s although it is a medical product and the prices of it dropping.

Want to know more about California's Proposition 19? This two-part series on the initiative has all the info you need. In the end, Proposition 19 brings up lots of tough issues for CA residents. Are you going to vote for it? Against it?

Short-term loaning needs cap, say UK payday loan experts

Consumer groups within the U.K. like End Legal Loan Sharking are foaming at the mouth over their anti-payday lending proposal to Parliament, writes This is Money U.K. Lowering the allowable interest rate charged by "doorstep loan providers and payday advance firms" is first on their agenda. Charging lower costs would be more reasonable for the ultimately legal form of consumer credit. Source for this article – Groups urge UK government to place rate caps on short-term credit by Personal Money Store.

Legal loan sharking isn’t payday lending

End Legal Loan Sharking and mainstream media say the exact same things. They say that payday loans and loan sharking are the same kind of business. That is the exact same mistake politically motivated consumer organizations make within the U.S. The payday advance industry is governed by numerous legislative bodies within the U.K., notes Payday Loan Advances. The IPA and BCCA all regulate pay day loans within the United Kingdom. That is the British Cheque Cashers Association and Insolvency Practitioners Association. Thus, when in contrast to loan sharking, such payday advance features as APR are more highly regulated.

Business states there shouldn't be costs

Figures from the End Legal Loan Sharking show how much "loan sharks" are legally allowed to charge. Each and every £100 ($160) borrowed can mean £82 ($132) is charged in interest. The payday loaning organizations would have a lot of risk lending like that, This is Cash forgets to mention. Hence, protection must be built in.

A 'Ten Minute Rule’

Wed, British Parliament will review a 10 Minute Rule coming from Labour MP Stella Creasy. Those with poor credit would be more likely to borrow with the open consumer credit market that this rule would start within the U.K. It’s called a Ten Minute Rule as the supporter has 10 minutes to make the case for the bill in question.

"The Govt needs to understand action is needed now to address the high cost of loaning which exploits some of the poorest people in our communities who can least afford the charges door step loan companies set," is what the British media accounts Creasy saying.

Payday lending APRs and fees would be capped with the Ten Minute Rule. Licenses would only be given to those the local authorities chose to give them too. Also, customers would have more access to credit union loans that are available.

Hybrid your workout with the ElliptiGO

Created by an Ironman who had been severely injured, the ElliptiGO is a hybrid form of transport. The ElliptiGO rides like an elliptical, but moves like a bicycle. The machine can go just about anywhere a bicycle would. It uses eight gears to provide a high intensity workout without impact.

The ElliptiGO design

Regular bicycle tires are used with the chain drive of an elliptical machine. This is why “an outdoor elliptical bicycle” is what the ElliptiGO is considered. The machine has an adjustable stride length and steering column to allow for riders between 5 feet and 6 feet 6 inches tall. Standard bicycle gear shifters move via eight gears, and also the carbon-fiber frame holds riders up to 250 pounds.

How to work out with an ElliptiGO

An ElliptiGO machine claims to be a better workout than bicycling or running alone. The eliptiGO goes about 12 to 18 miles per hour. This is at a reasonable pace of course. There is a very wide range of motion of your hips and knees on an ElliptiGO, wider than a bicycle but with less impact than running. You are standing rather than sitting on the ElliptiGO. This causes more calories to be burned. The full leverage of legs and hips is behind you when your body is always moving. This means, the ElliptiGO makes it easier to go up hills than it would be on a bicycle.

Should I try the ElliptiGO?

At a price of $2,200, the ElliptiGO is not an inexpensive exercise machine. This is the exact same cost as a high-end fire bicycle. Keep in mind that is high end though. Are you thinking about investment? The ElliptiGO is part cross trainer and part transportation that is self-propelled. An ElliptiGO, because it allows you to stand when moving, won’t wrinkle your clothing, which is a common problem with bicycle commuting. The ElliptiGO is one-tenth the price of a car. It could be worth it if you are going to use it as a transportation system.

Keynesian economics at the heart of 2010 political battles

To revive an economy during a downturn, Keynesian economics dictates that govt must spend when consumers will not. John Maynard Keynes would be dismayed at the present govt of his native country as Britain joins Europe with draconian government spending cuts. American conservatives are using the example of Britain and the struggling United States of America economy to declare Keynesian economics dead.

The fundamentals of Keynesian economics

Keynesian economics is depending on the cycle of money. An economy gets healthier as people spend. The economy got really bad while the cycle of money essentially stopped during the Great Depression. Making the cycle of money work again was what Keynes told the government to do. The laissez-faire capitalism theory won out at that time which made everyone ridicule him for his ideas. Keynes’ ideas were taken to heart by the Roosevelt administration, which spent to build roads, dams and other public works projects. The United States of America economy did really well for about 50 years after World War II came along requiring a ton of government spending.

Working with Keynesian economics isn't a thing Europe will do

Europe was hurt badly by the global financial crisis. The economy crashed. Keynesian economics was the idea given to European governments by U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. Instead, Europe is heading the other way with austerity measures. A $130 billion spending cut is being done in Britain. This is hurting the military, pensioners, the middle class and poor because of the 500,000 jobs lost. A higher national debt along with less growth and less tax revenue could be what the British governments ends up with, the Guardian accounts Nobel Prize winner Joseph E. Stigliz saying.

What Keynesian economics and the midterm elections have to do with each other

A United States of America economy that remains sluggish despite billions in government stimulus has conservatives arguing that the Obama administration should follow Britain’s example. Right wing pundits eagerly anticipating Republican gains in Congress are trumpeting the 2010 midterm election as the official declaration that Keynesian economics have failed. The White House cautions that an abrupt end to government economic stimulus will extend the downturn. Conservatives argue the economy has stabilized, and it is time to wean the country from deficit spending.
