U2 360 tour rehearsal where Bono was injured
U2 has been rehearsing for the U2 360 tour in Germany. Golden-Globe-nominated frontman Bono severely injured his back during last week's rehearsal. The release from U2 Bono's doctors say that the singer has “suffered severe compression of the sciatic nerve … a serious tear in the ligament, and a herniated disc.” Before his emergency surgery, Bono was also suffering from partial paralysis in his legs.
U2 Tour, U2 360 postponed
Because of Bono's injury, the U2 360 tour has been postponed. Even though they used pay day loan to ensure they got U2 360 tickets, millions of fans will now have to wait to see Bono. The U2 360 concert is being rescheduled by LiveNation for sometime in 2011, and ticketholders will most likely be able to exchange their tickets. The U2 360 concert organizers have been personally contacted, in some cases, by Bono himself. In his conversation with the head of the Glastonbury Festival, Bono said he was “heartbroken.” The doctors treating Bono have said the tour will not go on until Bono has recovered.
