There ought to be a 2011 Dodge Durango out very soon

The SUV market is still missing an auto. This would be the Dodge Durango. This SUV was not mid-size or full-size because it was between the two. Dodge said there were plans to remodel this very powerful car. The outside appears to the Dodge Durango weren’t the only thing that Chrysler changed. An SUV crossover is what they’re calling the Durango 2011. It could be a mix of the mid size Explorer and the huge Suburbans. Jeep’s cars are beginning to become unpopular although Chrysler wants to be a part of the craze with crossovers.

There is an additional Durango

Chrysler decided to remodel the three-quarter size SUV when stopping production of the Dodge Durango for over a year. The RamCharger is what the SUV replaced. The SUV was really popular then. It was large enough of an SUV to fit numerous people, or add a lot of cargo space, without being a huge as the SUVs like the Tahoe, Excursion, Expedition, Hummer or even the Suburban. Under the hood, it was all Dodge. It was the perfect automobile to take children to sports, school, or even on road trips.

Looking new

The Dodge Durango looks different. The newest York Times reports that it is prepared to be a crossover SUV. That does not mean that Dodge Motors is skimping on the horsepower, though. The 2011 Durango will come with a stock 290 horsepower 3.6 liter V6, or optional 360 hp 5.7 liter V8. If you choose the V8, you know it will shut down 4 of the 8 cylinders when not needed as part of the efficiency. Three 2011 Dodge Durangos could be on display at the Dodge Rock N Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon.

Chrysler making some changes

Dodge Motors and Jeep are the other two brands besides Chrysler. New Fiat models of these automobiles will be accessible shortly also thinking about the Chrysler-Fiat merger that happened recently. The Patriot and Compass are the models of jeep selling the most which is why there are more being made. The crossover market will likely enjoy the Chrysler also.
