Shear Genius is supposed to be a competition about hairstyling. The Shear Genius winner for Season three on Bravo has stirred up some controversy.
Whether she deserved it or not, Brig is getting the Shear Genius winner prize of $ 100,000 in cash advance prize cash and a photo shoot for Allure Magazine.
Brig: Shear Genius winner
It’s for certain that Brig was not the finest hairstylist on Shear Genius. Brig was the best reality show competitor on Shear Genius though. The person who deserves it is never the person that wins since they always give it to whoever will sell more TV.
So it’s only somewhat surprising that Brig, known for her crazy outfits and over-the-top hair bows, took the Shear Genius Winner prize and won’t have to borrow money to feed her big-bow addiction.
The way Shear Genius works
Shear Genius has a hairstyling theme much like Top Chef and Project Runway. Every week the changers are given one short cut challenge where they aren't eliminated and one elimination challenge.
Each challenge for elimination has a style that the competitors much match before sending them down the runway to be seen by a panel of judges.
The drama of Brig
On Shear Genius, winner Brig became known as the drama-bucket of the show. During the show she was typically the center of controversy with her huge bows when she worked for the drama instead of the competition. Matthew Morris and Janine Jarman were the other two finalists that were more liked by watchers but Brig's buns with extensions won within the end. There are some that are wondering if Brig’s story of “triumph over adversity” may are exactly what pushed her over the top.
Whatever these reasons happen to be, Brig managed to get herself on the show and then to find herself winning the Shear Genius competition.
