Bill O'Reilly causes The View walk off

Bill O’Reilly is not exactly one of the most popular guys within the world. Lately, he incensed Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg to the point that it caused a “The View” walk-off. He had been discussing the Ground Zero mosque with the hostesses of the show, and Goldberg and Behar could not stand to hear any more. Behar stood up, announced that she did not want to hear any more, and Goldberg joined up with her in storming off. Like any sensational footage, it went to the internet. Since then, video of “The View” walk off has gone viral.

'The View’ loses two different hosts

Thursday, “The View” had a guest. Bill O’Reilly was this guest. He thought perhaps he’d talk about ground zero. The mosque controversy had been discussed. He cited polls indicating most Americans aren’t in favor of a community center that contains a mosque being located near where the World Trade Center used to be. During the O’Reilly appearance on “The View,” he stated that building a mosque in that location is inappropriate “because Muslims killed us on 9/11.”. Whoopi Goldberg reportedly didn’t like what he said. Her reaction was bleeped because it had been so bad. There had been a lot of yelling that took place next. Joy Behar then stood up and said she couldn’t be there anymore. Whoopi Goldberg stood up and joined her in walking out, and stories of “The View” walk-off begun circulating.

The feud has not concluded

Joy Behar didn’t understand why people thought the incident had been significant to note. She called O’Reilly “an idiot” herself that night though. The issue was also discussed that night on “The Joy Behar Show” who had Jesse Ventura on it. The second season of the show “Conspiracy Theory” had been also plugged by Ventura. USA Today explains that Ventura thinks the Fox commentator, O’Reilly, is a “spineless puke” that has hate speech.

That is what O’Reilly really does

What makes Bill O’Reilly popular is that he pushes buttons. He makes inflammatory statements, regardless of fact at times and he does so purposefully. So does Keith Olbermann. That type of thing sells, and Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar bought it.
